01 · The Instagram agent

Answers comments and direct messages on its own. A fixed set of checks reads every reply first, and what they stop goes to Kobby instead of out.

  1. A comment or a direct message arrives from Instagram and is matched to the post it belongs to.
  2. The agent drafts a reply from the studio’s own knowledge, then reads it once more for anything the studio would not say.
  3. A comment is answered on the spot, and so is a direct message. What a reply may not contain is a fixed rule, and anything that trips it stops at the Clay gate for Kobby.
  4. Anything that fails to send is emailed to Kobby, and each conversation is remembered, so nobody is invited to follow twice.

The studio’s own site. Assembled pages, one stylesheet, nothing third party.

  1. Every page is written by hand and assembled from shared parts, so the header, the footer and the assistant cannot drift between pages.
  2. One stylesheet, fonts served from this domain, paper artwork made for this site. Nothing is fetched from anybody else’s server while you read.
  3. Every change is built, checked on phones and with a keyboard, and published only once the checks pass.
  4. The domain, the hosting and every account it runs on are in the owner’s name, the way a client’s would be from day one.

03 · Lead intake and triage

Every brief is checked, logged, sorted by a model and acknowledged straight away.

Start a build

  1. Every Start a build form on this site arrives here and is checked field by field on the server, against a closed set of allowed values and a length cap on each one.
  2. The brief is answered at once, so the visitor sees the success card, and written to the studio’s leads sheet.
  3. A model sorts it into the kind of build it is, and it reaches Kobby with that sorting on top.
  4. The visitor gets a reply saying the brief arrived and what happens next.

04 · The website assistant

Answers from a defined body of knowledge and hands the rest to a person.

  1. A visitor asks a question on any page of this site. The page passes it on and never holds the address of the system behind it.
  2. The assistant answers from one document the studio keeps, and says plainly when a question sits outside it.
  3. A question about price becomes the Start a build form. A question it cannot answer becomes an email to Kobby.
  4. Each visit is one conversation with a cap on how many messages it takes in an hour, and every exchange is kept for the studio to read.
